Should I install a brake proportioning valve with bigger 4 piston brakes?

Possible to install one in a 2G?

If you're really picky about brake bias, put in a master cyl from a car with the same brake setup you are installing.

heh, a master cylinder from a given car don't exist since these are aftermarket brakes..

Another question, if you got much bigger rotors on the fronts than stock, won't that mean there will be increased brake leverage (due to increases circumerference), causing the fronts to lock up earlier?

Look into master cylinders and what you want to buy.  Maybe aftermarket companies such as wilwood?

Yes slightly, but for a very small increase in radius and the same energy having to be dissipated it won't be noticable.  Proprotioning valves aren't that precise.

If you can find an adjustable proportioning valve put that in, race cars use them and will mount the adjuster in the dash or something for on the fly fine tuning of the brakes.

I found a site a long time ago that was a vendor for real race car stuff... pit stop shoulder fuel tanks + dry break fuel doors, tire warmer blankets, infared pyrometers, pit to helmet comm gear, etc etc.  I lost the bookmark though...

If you could find a place like that they would probably have one.

Mounting a mechanical proportioning valve in the cockpit has the potential to be a messy affair.

Summit motorsports sells these such valves.

But why would you want to mount it in the cockpit?!  Running brake fluid into the cockpit?  whoa.....
