So ya remember the post about me getting the cheap gas? well it's all gone. a whole tank gone in under160km!!!!   WTF!!!     I have a new O2 in there  :?

I havent put in the new Feul pump yet or a new feul filter. Was gonna do that sunday along with my mounts. Inside my throtle body there is a disc u can rotate to cut the idel intake air. Mike said i had to adjust that but i don't know which way to turn it. If ya hook my car up to a logger it shows that it's using the 40% feul advance all the time. i'm so confused

Post about cheap gas, it gets used up in 160 kms, post about an accident, and you have an accident.  This place is cursed.

bad ignition, plugged air filter, plugged cat, too much fuel pressure, boost/vaccum leak, lead foot, low compression, jumped timing belt.

incorrect safc settings, bad sensors(maf, O2, cam angle, others?), someone swapped out your injectors for 850's without tellin ya?

does it still have good power?  if so, it shouldnt be a plugged cat.

does it run smoothly both at idle and under load?  if so, that should rule out ignition.


oh, can you smell raw gas anywhere?  Look for a big leak, that can make your mileage really bad.

I got a new K&N on her, new coil pack, 145 compression accross the board, got no safc. New O2 sensor put in last month. The power she has is nothing special, not pulling hard at all. Idels high like 1400rpm sometimes. Timing looks ok

could my MAF be messed? or even my ECU? cuz now when i drive her she has no guts. Like i'm driving a 81 civic. It spools and blows off but doesn't get over 9psi even when i turn up the MBC. My A/F gauge is showing ideling just above lean then goes to only 2 bars of green when i gun it, seems normal. It uses my O2 sensor does it not? so that would mean it would be ok. does it receve the signal beofre my ECU does? could there be a bad wire right before the ECU because there is one that has been cut and then clamped togeather. but it's always been this way

That sounds like a boost leak.

Also, you mentioned it idles at 1400 sometimes.. Check your idle switch / throttle cable settings, as I was getting continuity when cold, no continuity when hot.

Also, double check that the timing belt is 100% lined up.  Had mine one notch off at one point, and it definately ran like a beater.

Ds-map / Jackal, highly recommended.  I've been running it for the last 3 - 4 years.  Amazing improvement in throttle response and overall power under part throttle conditions, and that was with the old maf still in place for 2 years.  Amazing tuning platform in my opinion, and best of all free.

so i got a logger. but it wouldn't connect to my laptop  :(   but when i just plug in the wire to nothing just the port next to fusebox, it hauls ass!   doesn't even sound like it boosting. it idels at about 2300rpm when it's pluged in  :shock:  it's just all go and boost only hits 5psi. so weird. U think my ECU is shot?

I think that when you plug in the logger cable, it grounds something?

I'd pursue that a bit farther.
