Syncro
« on: February 10, 2004, 04:23:27 pm »
When I'm shifting from first, into second, and only then, there is a small bump feeling when I hit 2nd gear.. and a small noise from my gear box. I can put the clutch in, and it shifts fine, and it's only occuring when I shift from first TO second, not even when I downshift. So the only thing I can guess it is, is my 2nd gear syncro is off? Any suggestions would be appreciated.  :D

2nd gear synchros are an issue - you can get a superior replacement one - problem is - ripping the tranny apart to do it.

I will be doing my 1st and get my berrings checked Friday (I have troubles getting into 1st if the conditions are right as well)
