Stock DSMs are known to snap belts at 75K and up, more power does not affect this much.

Is it worth it? I don't know....changing mine every 70k instead means I may need to change it once or twice ever.

It is a terrible thing to have one break - it damages engine parts and is costly.

If you don't have balance shafts anymore, it may be worth it, since you'll probably never have to do a timing belt job ever again (unless you jump some teeth or your water pump goes)
