What are you using to measure your fuel pressure Ernie? And who is doing it.

The stock FPR is non-adjustable, in a conventional fashion. Give us a bit more detail on your diagnosis and related problems.

if you want to raise or lower your fuel pressure your going to need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and going from what you have i'm thinkin your pressure is too high and you need to lower it

whats your pressure at now Ernie?  And you have to take the vaccum line off the regulator to measure its base pressure because being a rising rate unit, the engines vacuum affects it.

It is supposed to be 38PSI stock for a 1g turbo 5spd.

Well.. here are my problems.  When i goto start my car i have to turn the key for a while until it starts.  And when i gave it some gas it gets major fuel cut real quick.  Not even boosting much.  at like 3200 rpm when i step on the gas a bit.  Doesn't have to be full throttle.  So i can't boost for anything.. and the car takes a long time to start up.  And it takes a couple seconds for the idle to come around to normal.   Anything u think i'm missing please lemme know.

That sounds like what my car was doing when the UIC Pipe had a vacuum leak the other weekend.

If you have a Walbro 255 you'll be able to hear it. A whining sound near at the back of the car on the gas tank side.
