my mini eclipse conversion
« on: January 16, 2004, 08:06:22 pm »
I intended to do a half eclipse conversion after my accident (only changing the front end) but I decided to try out this 'quarter' conversion (eclipse headlights, with modified talon bumper).
I'm pretty happy with how it turned out .... I guess I like having things a bit different ...

hehe thanks but I wish I did it all myself.  I actually had a family friend body technician do it for me while he fixed my fender/bumper etc, after my little accident.  He cut/bent galvanized steel plates and screwed them to the bumper to cover the gaps between the headlights and bumper...then took duramix 40 and all that other stuff (sorry can't remember exactly what) to make it all nice, uniform, and ready to paint...
I got the paint shop to fill in the emblem, so i think that made a huge diff as well.
