hey how much did you lower your car anyways? How many inches?  If i lower mine 1.5 inch with Eibach Pro springs, I shouldnt have to get a VI right?

Mine is down 2".

I measured the heights needed and I am ok, so you should be too.

Since when is there a hieght that the car has to be?  I thought the rule was no part of the car could be below the lowest part of the rim?

Mind you, there are min and max rules for headlight and bumper hieght.

When they redesigned the DSM for the 2G, they dropped it 2" (I think I remember reading that somewhere) which means your dropped car, is the same height as his stock one.  Beautiful, ain't it?

Ya 2gs are 1.4" lower in height and an inch less clearance than an Eagle TSI (under .8" for Lasers).

The 1Ga also gains a little on the headlight requirements due to the pop-ups having a higher center (and this is the one that gets us first)

My ESi was down 4" but it bottomed out too much..

Remember, you can gain almost 1" in vehicle height with bigger tires too (ie 205/55 vs 235/55 = almost 1" taller) - It may be easier to swap 4 wheels for a day.
