After reading a bazillion posts, reviews, bla bla, I ended up buying the ACT 2600 with a street disc.

everyone loves both...... so its kind of a hard decision...

personally, I have had both in my car... and like the ACT 2600 clutch much better... mind you I also got the 6 puck disc put in at the same time, so it is a little hard to compare... but the CFDF only lasted my 1 year... and completely fried one day at the track... so far I like the ACT much better.....

I have a CFDF in both my Laser and Talon and I like 'em.  Not super stiff, but still hold plenty of power.  The one is the Laser got all oily, and i washed it off with laquer thinner and it still works great.  I've never had a problem with the one in the Talon but I haven't been to the track either.  Apparently they don't really like the heat buildup but if you can let them cool down between runs they're great.

Keep in mind I've never driven an ACT to compare to.
DSMs - fun when they run
