oh the joys of an ABS light in the morning...
« on: January 09, 2004, 06:58:12 pm »
NOT!

Every morning it comes on when I start the car.  If I drive for 5-10 min, shut the car off and restart it, the light cycles normally and goes out.  No problems after that.

Any ideas on this??

have you recently changed your brake pads or taken the rotors off for any reason?  i changed my break pads last week and a few days ago my abs light came on while driving and sometimes when i start the car up.  somehow i guess air got in.  i bled the brakes and so far no sign of abs light.

had the struts off, to change the springs, but I didn't take off the brakes.

Air in the system would cause a randon ABS light?  holy..
