performance brake pads

i'm gunna be replacein my brake pads on my 92 brakes...just wonderin if there are any sort of performance brake pads that will give you better stopping power....ceramic brake pads perhaps?

THis topic's been done before, but I like Porterfield R4S pads.  Never faded, hard driving, panic stops from 100mph etc...

I quite like my ceramics. No fade at all. for stopping power though, there is little debate about the fact that Portefields and Metal Masters are the best. You can get MM's from Lowel if you can't find them elsewhere.
On the down side though, I hear they wear fast and are dusty.

i would like something that doesn't wear all that fast
how are your ceramics jeremy....what kinda ball park figure would i be lookin at for new set for all 4 calipers

i put ceramics on the front when i did mine mike.....and they cost 65 bucks at lordco with my dads discount. not sure what brand they where.... i also have the bigger brakes.....but i'm guessin about 100 for front and rear....not sure about the other brands tho
mine are squeaky tho! especially in the cold
1 laser rs....sold
the only way it was doin 12's in a quarter mile was being dropped off a 1320 foot  cliff
.....stupid university costing so much

My porterfields have been on for almost 2 years now...probably getting close to replacement.  They ARE pretty dusty, but for the extra stopping power, it's definately worth it.

Lordco?  Heh, doubt it.  I ordered it from RRE, when I was in the States.  They were 100+US for the pair.  I think Lowell carries them...
