If you have a bench grinder that is definately the way to go. Much faster.

faster than a buffing wheel? really? i thought that it would be easier with a buffing wheel because you can move it around with your hand...but with the bench grinder you would have to lift the valve cover up to the grinder...that would take alot more effort i would think

and the buffing wheel has a bigger surface area
