Logger Results. Help
« on: November 16, 2003, 04:08:51 pm »
Ok so Aaron finaaly got his logger back from Fred and has now very generiously lent it to me ( Thank man  :D  ) so i finally figured how to hook it up and use it and did some runs. This is what i came up with:
RPM       968 -- 4843
KNOCK       0 -- 9
Timing       12 -- 45 Deg
O2       1.53 -- 2.61 Volts
AIRFLOW                     56 -- 674Hz
Inj. P/W       0 -- 7,69 sms
AirVolume                    0 -- 2
AirTemp                    96 -- 92 Deg
Throttle Pos    0 -- 64%
Coolant Temp    253 -- 247 Deg
Battery       13.27 -- 13.71 Volts
Barometer                    97 -- 67
ISC       9 Steps
O2 Trim                    100/100
Fuel Trim                   Hi  81/81
         Mid  101/101
         Low 85/85
So are these readings good?
ALSO the engine code that has been lighting up my dash for a good while now is the Knock Sensor  :(   What the hell should i do? is this something i can fix? thanx

throttle position 69%? no higher?

Logs are more usefull if you post all the stats together, like IPS TP knock & Timing at each RPM

yea, that O2 voltage is WAY wierd.

also you need to floor it too :)

and your low and high trims are pretty rich.  Especially the low trim.  And I think you should be able to flow alot more air than that(HZ of less than 700).  I get that at like 40% throttle and I have the stock turbo.

as for the knock sensor, change it out with a known working one and see if it goes away.  That is important.  If it doesnt work you can get either crappy performance if you don't actually have knock, but the sensor is telling your engine that you do, or worse you can get a dead engine if you have lots of knock and the sensor isn't telling the ecu that you do.

what kind of log is that? I'm used to TMO output and we're definately not in Kansas Toto.
Lots of things about it seem weird and you need it to display WOT readings in third gear to be of any great value.
