2G Wastegate solenoid restrictor removal
« on: June 08, 2014, 12:16:20 am »
So, this was incredibly easy......

twist in screw of appropriate size

pull

That is all

I used a drywall screw for steel studding.  I would recommend doing this while the plastic is warm, not cold, to avoid snapping off the nipple.

Current projects:  1992 Laser RS AWD - daily summer

1989 2000GTX FWD - not sure where this is going yet
1991 Talon Tsi AWD - soon to be organ donor

He has a few I'm sure.
1 EBC forsure.
A couple MBC's.
He's just scared of all the power he would have if he bolted all the killer stuff together in one sick package.

no, I was waiting for someone to drop by so while I waited I did this mod on the 2g while I was cleaning the air filter and adding the deflector into the Dejon intake.

2g...  AKA... Black Mamba, has not graduated to modified status yet.  Other projects have had priority.  Not to mention the Fucked tensioner that made me have to do the timing belt........... not that it wasn't on the agenda already anyways, it just sped up the need to do the job.

hahaaahhaaaaaaaa    ;D

 Rob

You're just impatient and want immediate gratification!  I on the other hand prefer to wait patiently, analyze, test, plan and then explode like a 50 cal hollow point going through a brick wall.

Yea, because a body kit, dejon intake, system, lowered, etc doesn't count as modified yet.....

It's only "modified" if it runs 10's or better in the quarter ;)
