Big brake
« on: February 26, 2014, 11:59:30 am »
Just wondering if anyone had done the outlander brackets with the 2g pistons on their 1g? I already have the calipers and brackets for the 2g but was also thinking of the outlander swap.  Or just stick with the 2g setup with good pads and rotors?

I upgraded to RTM vr4 kit, works great for the price. Only thing is there's no of knowing if it'll fit your 17s. For that reason I wasn't able to use my 17s with brand new tires:/

The Cobra style upgrade works very well.   The VR4 will definitely require more wheel clearance.  If it's primarily a street car the Outlander upgrade is probably your best bet due to the lighter rotor.  If you really need the extra cooling then step up to the extra rotating mass of a 13" rotor and choose what caliper clears your wheels.
