that happens for sure Jason. Normally its only a pound or two tho.
If you have actually done a boost leak test(not looking/pulling on the hoses and clamps, but an actual boost leak test with an air compressor), then I suggest having a look at your catalytic converter. Often old ones can plug up or become damaged in such a way as to block flow. Low exhaust flow = low boost.
