Yes, they are the same bolt pattern.  Not sure about the offset though... I think Cam Weiss is running a set on his 1gb IIRC.

FD wheels are 16x8, 5 on 114.3 bolt pattern (same as a DSM), but offset is different. I don't recall off the top of my head, but +50 sounds about right.

On my 1g, I'm running 1/4 spacers and had to grind down and flush weld the flange on the rear control arm.

On a 2g, I'm not sure what you'd have to do.

You'll need different lug nuts - The tapered style, rather than the flange+washer OEM type.

(By the way, I'm looking for ONE FD wheel, the lighter non-reinforced one. I broke a wheel this year at an autocross in Washington)
Objects in mirrors appear to be losing.

2g cars have tons more room in the wheel wells, so it should be fine. If the center bore fits Cams car it will fit.

you will want some spacers tho, it will look like one of those trucks that go on the train tracks with that offset, on a 2g.

Oh, what year RX-7?  I think the FC wheels are the same bolt pattern but not sure of the offset or center bore.

All that said, on a 2g I don't think I would bother with the hassle.  2g cars need 17 or 18" wheels for looks at least.  16" wheels are pretty small and especially with that offset.  Unless the wheels are free or close to it.
