Kamloops
« on: May 19, 2011, 01:22:47 am »
I will be heading up to the loops in the first week of June. Can I get some ideas on where to go for a pub crawl, and watch a hockey game (hopefully).

thanks

I wouldn't call CJ's a country bar so much anymore... the Firkin' is awesome, and close to the strippers.  ::)
Outta the game!

I havent been to Kamloops for a year and a bit but the Central it always a good time, they have karaoke on saturdays. The blue grotto often has live music but they are 21+. Apparently there is a new pub called the Noble Pig thats pretty popular. If you wanna party I hear Rivers or The duchess are the places to go with CJs and The Plaza(?) not far behind. The Rockin Firkin and 'on the rocks' are more of sports bars, same with the fox and hounds and sports central lounge (i think its still called that). And when your night is all done stop by Mountain High pizza for some delicious eats. :D

if you want a busy pub with decent looking waitresses then go to the fox and hounds, or on the rocks. the firkin used to be awsome but has greatly greatly steadily gone down hill since it was sold about 5-6 years ago. the guy who used to own it owns the fox. its fffing busy there though, so if you want a bit of a smaller crowd go to the firkin. but still get there kind of early if you expect a seat during a hockey game.
ahah we both have a good side. lets sue each other!
