The tubular exh mani looks pretty high ... i wonder how your hood will handle the heat that close...

Interesting idea w/ the oil filter - at first glance it looked too high as well, but could just be the angle of the pics.

the manifold isn't much higher than my pacesetter was and ya that oil filter location is prime  8)   I think I may shim my hood up a bit in the back to try and vent a bit of heat out that way aswell

I think Phil built it actually but IIM did it and they actually do all this custom fab for a decent price I didn't pay a G for that I'll tell you that  8)

You're gonna get oil everywhere when you change it, but boy is that filter convenient. And it's gonna be scary when you pop the hood and your curly manifold is red hot, along with half your engine bay :shock:

All in all, it looks damn sexy. I love those clearly custom engine bays.

well I asked about the oil making a mess and they said they've done that setup before and it hasn't been a problem as the oil drains away once the engine is turned off and it has not been a problem at all    and ya that manifold will prolly be getting wrapped up soon
