Kenji that sounds wierd, nothing should even be able to come in since when the valve opens the air is being shot out :?

I have my Turbo RFL pointing down at my tranny so I should be ok.

Congrats Igor on the swap, that will be done to my car too sometime soon...hopefully

thanks :)
yea that was a pretty good deal actually, the engine was in very good condition with just 60k kms on it and it came with the tranny

talking about bovs, blitz sell them with two kinds of tips a filter one just like i have and with an open end.

the open end one should make more noise i guess

Looks really nice, are those ground straps on your plug wires?  Where did you get the motor from and what was the price on it?

yes, thats the ground straps there

bought the motor from Nagasaki Autoparts for $1600.
They had 2 6bolt motors at that time, both having the same mileage, same 16g turbo, tranny in the same good condition, both going for same price, so basically i just had to pick a better looking one. Also, the engine came with ECU, complete wiring harness, CAS, and a cut front axle which i dont really need.

The bov filter is to filter air while the bov is open under vacuum conditions(idle and part throttle).
