July Meet - Which Day
« on: June 27, 2005, 04:23:37 pm »
Marty is away on vacation, so I'll be setting up this one.

Since the meet is only a couple of days away, I am putting up a vote to see who can make it this week, or whether we will have to push the meet to next week.

Please select one of the days to hold the meet above. I will choose the day by tommorow afternoon and put up the details.

If you can come on either day and it doesn't matter then please don't vote. I want to see which people absolutely CANNOT make it on one of the dates, so I can get the most attendance possible.

I voted for the tenth but just realized I have a prior engagement.  As for the fourth, I may not be able to make it either as I'm working all week and right in the middle of installing the ic.  So to be fair, subtract 1 vote from the 10th and I will abstain.

Ds-map / Jackal, highly recommended.  I've been running it for the last 3 - 4 years.  Amazing improvement in throttle response and overall power under part throttle conditions, and that was with the old maf still in place for 2 years.  Amazing tuning platform in my opinion, and best of all free.

This weekend is the long weekend, and a lot of ppl take advantage of that for some R&R out of town.
We'll make a count of the votes on Thursday and let everyone know first thing in the morning.

3rd or 10th, doesn't matter to me, one question though: Is there going to be any dsm guru's attenting this meet? I just have a few questions :D

I'd perfer the tenth since I've just been driving my 96 gsx for 3 days now and don't know jack all about it, lol. Not to mention, this being my 3rd day driving stick as well, lol. see you there.

total noob... to the forum, the car, and stick shift.
LIttle bit of a rough ride.

~any help in person will be welcomed but i should be ok on my own...~ hopefully.
